Why This Matters
As our population ages, the need for effective approaches to brain health has never been greater. Rates of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias continue to rise, impacting not only individuals but also families, caregivers, and the broader healthcare system. Despite advances in science, access to prevention programs, early detection, and clinical trials remains limited for many people. The Roskamp Institute is uniquely positioned to address this gap by combining the latest research with real-world application. Through the Center for Brain Health, we are creating a space where scientific discovery is not confined to the lab but is actively translated into programs, tools, and clinical opportunities that benefit our community.
