For Immediate Release
Sarasota, FL – The Roskamp Institute is pleased to announce it has received a $15,000 grant from the Bishop-Parker Foundation to support a new initiative that will be implemented in the Institute’s upcoming Healthy Aging Clinic.
The grant will support a pilot program in which 50 Manatee County residents ages 55 and older will test The Roskamp Institute’s proprietary brain health assessment tool and provide survey feedback to evaluate its clarity, feasibility, and overall usability.
This feedback will directly inform improvements to the content and interface, ensuring the final platform is user-friendly and responsive to community needs.
Strengthening Community-Centered Healthy Aging
The Bishop-Parker Foundation’s investment is critical to the success of this early-stage program. As the sole funder of the pilot, the Bishop-Parker Foundation builds upon its ongoing support for the Roskamp Institute’s broader vision, including the development of the Bishop-Parker Foundation’s Healthy Aging Clinic scheduled to open in late 2026.
“Thanks to the Bishop-Parker Foundation’s continued generosity, we can evaluate and refine a tool designed to empower older adults in Manatee County with actionable, science-driven brain health strategies,” said Dr. Fiona Crawford, CEO and co founder of The Roskamp Institute. “Their commitment helps advance our shared goal of improving lifelong cognitive wellness through innovation and community partnership.”
