The Roskamp Institute is excited to announce a new partnership with Empath Health’s Dementia
Services Team to provide support and resources for family caregivers in our community.
Beginning August 20, Empath Health will host a monthly Caregiver Support Group led by trained
staff with extensive Alzheimer’s and dementia education and certifications. The group will meet at
the Roskamp Institute on the third Thursday of every month from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Designed exclusively for caregivers, the support group will offer a welcoming environment where
participants can connect with others facing similar challenges, share experiences, learn practical
caregiving strategies, and receive guidance from dementia care professionals.
To allow caregivers the opportunity to focus on their own needs, this group is intended for
caregivers only. Participants are encouraged to arrange care for their loved ones during the meeting
time so they can fully engage in the discussion and support offered.
