Sarasota, FL — The Roskamp Institute is inviting community members to participate in an
early user experience program for the upcoming Brain Reserve Index (BRI), an innovative
brain health assessment designed to help individuals better understand and support their
long-term cognitive well-being.
Developed by researchers at the Roskamp Institute, the Brain Reserve Index is an
evidence-based assessment tool that evaluates a range of lifestyle and health factors
associated with cognitive resilience and healthy aging. Drawing on scientific research
across multiple domains, including medical history, physical activity, nutrition, cognitive
engagement, and other lifestyle behaviors, the BRI provides participants with personalized
insights and recommendations aimed at promoting brain health.
"Our goal is to empower individuals with practical, research-based information about
factors that may influence cognitive health over time," said representatives from the
Roskamp Institute. "As we prepare for the public launch of the Brain Reserve Index, we are
seeking feedback from participants to help ensure the experience is informative, engaging,
and easy to use."
Participants in the user experience program will complete the BRI assessment, which
takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes and can be completed either online or in person at
the Roskamp Institute. Following the assessment, participants will be asked to provide
feedback on several aspects of the platform, including:
- Ease of use and navigation
- Clarity of questions and instructions
- Overall user experience
- Value and usefulness of results and recommendations
- Suggestions for future improvements
The purpose of the program is not to evaluate participants, but rather to gather insights
that will help refine the platform before its broader release.
The Brain Reserve Index is planned as a subscription-based program offering multiple
levels of engagement. In addition to the online assessment, optional in-person services will be available through the forthcoming Roskamp Center for Brain Health, including
educational seminars, workshops, personalized consultations, and other programs
designed to support individuals in adopting and maintaining brain-healthy lifestyle
practices.
The BRI is intended as an educational and research tool and is not designed to provide
medical diagnoses. Instead, it offers evidence-based information that may help individuals
make informed decisions about their cognitive health and wellness.
Individuals interested in participating in the Brain Reserve Index User Experience Program
or learning more about the initiative are encouraged to contact the Roskamp Institute for

I am very interested in any recent research or development on Alzheimer’s. My mom had it and I was was diagnosed with MCI a couple of years ago! I’m doing all my neurologist says, exercise, use my brain, socialize! I read, walk, help others and dance too! My health is excellent otherwise.
